Home Show Information

Dear Exhibitors,

Home Show 2010" preparations are now in progress for March 12-14, 2010 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Bristol, Virginia.

If this will be your first year to participate in the show, the association welcomes you and we look forward to working together.  If you have been in the show before, welcome back.

We offer last year’s exhibitors first opportunity to reserve your previous year’s  booths for the 2010 Home Show until January 15th.  After that date booths will be assigned on a first come first served basis.  A layout of the booths is included in your exhibitor packet. 

The following is the booth rate schedule for 2010:

1. HBA Members - $335.00 per single booth or multiples of the same.
2. Non-HBA members - $410.00 per single booth or multiples of the same.

 

The deposit policy and rental fee for the 2010 Home Show is as follows:

1. $100.00 deposit per booth is required at the time of submitting the exhibitor contract (full amount is recommended).
2. Payment in full is required by February 26, 2010.
3. If full payment is not received by February 26, 2010, all deposits are forfeited and booths revert back to the HBA for rental to the next exhibitor on the waiting list.

 

Please fill out the reservation form and return to the HBA office as soon as possible in order to insure your desired booth(s). Don’t miss the marketing opportunity of the 2010 Home Show!

Admission-General Public
Admission if FREE.  However, we will be accepting donations for the Home Builders community projects and/or Santa Pal Children at Christmas.  This past Christmas we were able to help approximately 60 children and several families.

 

Booths
Each booth is furnished with drapes (Back 8' high, sides 3' high) and one sign, if requested by March 2nd.  Your registration includes on 6' skirted table(as long as  they are available), and two chairs if requested by same date.  (See enclosed form).

 

Directions
The Holiday Inn Convention Center is located at Exit 7 off Interstate I-81 in Bristol, Va.

 

Hours
The show hours for the general public are as follows:

1. Saturday       March 13, 2010       9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
2. Sunday           March 14, 2010       1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
   
   

Move In & Move Out
The loading doors are located at the rear of the convention center.  Please unload quickly and remove your vehicle from the doors when finished.  NO front entrance can be used to move in any equipment or display.  You MUST use the doors at the back of the center, or the two side doors.  This rule will be strictly enforced by the convention center.  We have until noon on Monday the 15th to move out or you may choose to move on Sunday evening.  NO EARLY DISMANTLING OF BOOTHS BEFORE ~5:00~P.M.

Do not attach anything to the floor which cannot be removed (nails, screws, glue, paint, etc.)  If removal is required by the management of the Holiday Inn or the HBA, the cost will be charged to you.  If you have water as part of your display, you must provide protection for the floor.

Booth Size - 10' x 9' - available as a single or in multiples of the same.

 

Seminars:
We will be having  SEMINARS again during the show  pertaining to various topics of interest in the building field.  Those to be announced at a later date.

Set-up Schedule for Friday
Friday March 12th - 8:00 a.m. ~ 9:00 p.m.

Name Badges
Exhibitors will be issued identification badges for show workers.  Badges will be distributed to each booth on Friday night.  Please fill out the enclosed form and mail or fax back to the HBA office no later than March 2, 2010.

 

Security
The doors to each Ball Room at the convention center will be locked after Friday set-up and after the show on Saturday night.  The Home Builders Association or Holiday Inn  is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
